ETEC Monitoring uses wireless GPRS monitoring, called Permaconn. With no connection charges as with your typical monitoring service, Permaconn is ‘permanently connected’ to the monitoring centre. This type of monitoring can be programmed to send its reports to the monitoring room every 90 seconds, or every hour and is available anywhere there is an accessible GSM service – which includes 95% of the Australian population.
Monitoring response plans are individually tailored at the time of commencing the service. The monitoring response actions will be entirely dependent on what plan you have decided on before the service commences. Typically, our clients select for different processes dependent on the alarm event, eg: if they are on holiday they will usually choose for a patrol car to attend to an alarm event or if it is the workplace, the patrol car is always sent.
